LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® for schools and families

In brief: IPPOPO uses the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method with schools and educational services to get educators and parents talking without judgement: each person tells their own point of view through a model built with bricks. The most common formats are school-family meetings, workshops for teams of educators and programmes run together with psychologists and educational specialists, in the province of Pavia, Milan and Lombardy.

A space to talk about what matters

Talking about education touches deep chords: it is easy to feel judged, both as a parent and as a professional. With LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® people speak through a model built with their hands, and this creates just the right distance to have an honest conversation.

IPPOPO designs meetings for schools, educational services and families in the province of Pavia, in Milan and across Lombardy, also together with psychologists and educational specialists.

Formats

School-family meetings

Educators and parents together on a specific theme: rules, emotions, autonomy, stages of growth.

Teams of educators

Aligning the working group on educational project, values and shared ways of working, at the start of the year or at a time of change.

With psychologists and educational specialists

The professionals bring the content; the method facilitates dialogue and everyone’s participation.

A real case in the province of Pavia: Siziano

With the educators and parents of the nursery school “Un, Due, Tre… Stella!” in Siziano, in collaboration with the Centro sempliceMENTE, we worked on a question that concerns many families: why do children behave so differently at school and at home? In two and a half hours, awareness, practical suggestions and a strong sense of community emerged. Read the full story.

Frequently asked questions

Who is it for?

Can parents and educators take part together?
