Masterclass “Effective Delegation”: time management and delegation for business owners
In brief: a hands-on day for owners of small and medium businesses that combines LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and business coaching on three concrete levers: trust in the team, time and priority management, and effective delegation. Approximately 9:30 to 17:30, with a maximum of 15 business owners. Everyone leaves with a model built with their own hands, a priority map and at least one task to delegate, with the delegation level and the conversation script already prepared.
Learn to delegate without losing control
Many owners of small and medium businesses handle too many things themselves and struggle to let go of control over tasks that could be managed by their collaborators or front-line staff.
This masterclass works exactly there. Not with theory alone, but by bringing out how each person thinks about trust and delegation, and turning what emerges into tools you can use from Monday morning.
The day at a glance
- Format: hands-on day, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® + business coaching
- Duration: approx. 9:30 – 17:30
- Participants: maximum 15 business owners
- Language: English or Italian
- Materials: full handbook for every participant
Three concrete levers
1. Trust
Individual and shared construction of the concept of trust within the team, through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® building.
2. Effective delegation
The 5 levels of delegation and the practical steps to apply it right away, with ready-to-use conversation scripts.
3. Why you have no time
The Eisenhower Matrix read through delegation, not just as generic time management.
Who it is for
Business owners, proprietors and leaders of small and medium businesses, typically with 2 to 25 employees, who handle too many things themselves and find it hard to let go of control.
Why LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and coaching together
The building brings out mental models, such as trust, the ideal day and past experiences of delegation, which rarely surface in a classroom setting. The coaching moments come in at exactly the points where the group has just built something with their hands, and turn the insight into an operational tool. To understand how the method works, read What LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is and how a workshop works.
What you get

The facilitators
Riccardo Pullarà
Business & Team Coach
A professional under Italian Law 4/2013, he works with owners of small and medium businesses starting from one idea: the problems visible in a company almost always stem from the owner’s behavioural and relational patterns. His method, Il Copione del Capo (The Boss’s Script), works in three steps: recognise the reaction, trace the pattern that generates it, build the action that interrupts it. Every programme leaves the owner with something usable from the following Monday morning.
